Kwan-Myung Kim delivered a speech regarding "Design in Korea: From styling to user experience" for the Design Conference 09 entitled Sustaining Design Excellenceheld in Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia on November 6.

Professor Lee has been elected as a council member by the recognized Design Research Society (DRS) which is centered in Europe. All council members are elected by vote and are the top members of the society who have the authority to make significant decisions. Professor Lee is the first Asian to be elected as a DRS council member. He is also an editorial staff and fellow of Design Studies, the highest authority design journal published by DSR.

이건표 교수는 세계 최고 권위의 디자인 학회인 영국과 유럽 중심의 Design Research Society (DRS)의 Council Member로 선출되었다. Council Member는 학회의 중요 의사 결정을 이루는 학회 최고의 회원들로 모든 회원들의 선거로 선출된다. 이건표 교수는 DRS Council Member로 선정되는 최초의 아시아 인이기도 하다. 이건표 교수는 이미 DRS에서 발간하는 세계 최고 권위의 디자인 저널인 Design Studies의 국제 편집위원과 석학회원를 역임하고 있다.. Large Image

KBC visited HCIDL for a one-hour-long special program, titled "Design is Story." Professor Lee talked about design, experience design, and story in an interview with KBC. Also Professor Sang-Min Bae introduced his design and an interview with Professor Donald Norman was conducted as well.

KBC에서 지난 12일날 ‘디자인은 스토리다’라는 1시간짜리 특집 방송 촬영을 위해서 본 학과를 방문하였다. 이건표교수의 디자인과 경험디자인 그리고 스토리에 대한 전반적 인터뷰를 진행하고 배상민 교수의 디자인 소개, Donald Norman교수와의 인터뷰도 진행되었다. Large Image
